S – Set the direction for your organization
3. Allocate Resources to Align with Objectives
Once you have clarified the work and aligned your team members, your responsibility is to allocate the resources (people, money, technology, time, and/or processes) at your disposal to achieve your objectives.
People – Put the right people with the right skills on the priority projects.
Money – Whatever gets budgeted becomes the priority!
Technology – Prioritize the latest technology on the high priority projects.
Time – Spend your time in a manner which reflects the priority of the objectives.
Processes – Continuously improve to increase efficiency.
As the leader you have the ability and responsibility to focus the resources at your disposal.
